Shipping policy

Order Processing

All orders are handmade in small batches and packed by hand. Please allow [1–3] business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

During new product launches, seasonal drops, and holiday periods, processing may take slightly longer. We'll always let you know if there's a delay.

You'll receive a confirmation email when you place your order, and a second email with tracking information once your package ships.

Delivery estimates begin once your order ships, not when it's placed. Total time to receive your order = processing time + shipping time.

Free Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders over $75 (calculated after any discounts and before taxes). The discount is applied automatically at checkout — no code needed.

Local Pickup

Local customers can pick up their order free of charge at our shop:

Select Local Pickup at checkout. We'll email you when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation and a photo ID.

Store hours: Wednesday-Saturday 10-6 Sunday 10-3

Orders not picked up within [30] days may be restocked. We'll reach out before that happens.

Warm Weather & Melting

Our balms and butters are made with tallow and botanical oils and contain no synthetic stabilizers. They can soften or melt in transit during hot weather.

This is normal and does not affect the safety, quality, or effectiveness of the product. If your balm arrives softened, simply place the closed jar in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes to allow it to re-solidify. The texture may look slightly different than when it was first whipped, but it will perform exactly the same.

We are not able to offer refunds or replacements for products that melt in transit during warm months, as this is outside our control once a package leaves our hands. If you're ordering during summer, we recommend selecting expedited shipping and bringing your package indoors promptly after delivery.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update in the carrier's system.

If your tracking hasn't updated in several days, contact the carrier first — they have the most current information about your package's location.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once a package is handed to the carrier, it is in their possession and outside our control.

If tracking shows "delivered" but you don't have your package: check with neighbors and household members, look around your delivery area, and contact your local carrier office. Packages sometimes show as delivered a day before they arrive.

If your package appears lost in transit: contact us at boriblisstallow@gmail.comand we'll help you file a claim with the carrier.

If your order arrives damaged: email us at boriblisstallow@gmail.com within [7] days of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging, and we'll make it right.

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked delivered, but we will always do what we can to help you resolve it with the carrier.

Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we'll contact you to arrange reshipment. [Reshipping costs are the customer's responsibility / We'll reship once at no charge.]

If you notice an error in your address, email us immediately at boriblisstallow@gmail.com — if your order hasn't shipped yet, we can usually fix it.

International Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.
